We want to offer our sincere gratitude and thank our 28 judges who volunteered their time today. We will tally up totals from our judges and announce winners this week, well before the Parade picks back up again on Saturday afternoon!

The 2026 Fall Parade of Homes begins TODAY! All Parade entries are open from 1pm-5pm this afternoon, and same time again on Sunday.

This week, we appreciated the opportunity to host Adam Hamilton, candidate for U.S. Senate. Several of our members provided feedback on housing policy, immigration enforcement and legislative solutions, regulatory burdens, and inflationary pressures on builders and consumers.

Hamilton is a contender on the ballot this fall and we are grateful for him taking time to listen. While WABA does not offer endorsements, we do welcome all candidates seeking to learn more about the issues affecting the homebuilding industry. The general election is on November 3rd and our Association encourages all Kansans to inform themselves on the candidates and the issues that impact our businesses and communities.

Twenty-five years later, we pause to remember and pay tribute.

We remember the nearly 3,000 lives lost on September 11, 2001. We honor the courage of the first responders and ordinary Americans who answered the call. And we remember the families who have carried that loss over a quarter-century.
