Born and raised in new york and is musically inspired by the likes of Armand Van Helden, A Tribe Called Quest, Childish Gambino, Tyler,The Creator, Alex David continues to evolve his sound and envoke any new listener,
6 years since my official debut under the Alex David alias. This is where it all truly started for me. Having a new sound and finding ways of being vulnerable to the world and being able to say it’s ok to grieve, ok to be sad, but more importantly to remind myself/yourself that in due time, things do get better and when it comes to those that have left us to the other side of tunnel, we’ll meet again.
These days it’s tough to remind ourselves of that especially with everything going on. So if you’re reading this, live in the now and do not let the world bring you down. “Experience the warmth before you grow old.” This too shall pass.

I’ve always felt that my voice was more of a bothersome thing hence why you haven’t heard me rap in so long up until now. However, I decided to take a different approach this time and sing a little bit. While I know I’m not the greatest at it, it was a shot in the dark I was willing to fire.
Much like taking a shot at the idea of falling in love again, even with the thought of possibly being heartbroken once more. In the end of it all, I’m just hoping this all works out and that more importantly, as I am in such a vulnerable state, we play it safe.
The new single drops tomorrow 6am EST.
Ever been scared to fall in love after a big heartbreak?
We all are.
We can also try our best to be there for the next person that comes into our lives. And without any promises, just at least assure us (or them) a peace of mind and comfort, that we’ll play it safe.
Decided to take on a different approach and sing about being vulnerable and falling in love again. Something I haven’t done before.
If you couldn’t tell, There’s been some troubled times in my past…then again, who doesn’t have that? Possible differences in circumstances however, we all go through these moments whether together or separately. If you’re going to choose me though, just don’t promise me anything. Let’s just play it safe…
