🐩🪩Yesterday our AL was transported back to the 1950s to kick off the first day of AL Week!🍨

🎙️Thanks to our friends at Heartland Hospice, residents and staff enjoyed an afternoon of dancing, sweet treats, and even sweeter music; with some even dressing the part! 💃🕺🪩

This week is National Rehab week so we’d like to take the time to celebrate our wonderful staff that do an amazing job of keeping our patients on their toes!😉

Our very own Lakepoint Choir put on a spectacular show today called “The Sound of Silence”

The show featured the Simon & Garfunkel song at the top with a Dolly Parton Tribute of “I Will Always Love You” to boot💝 Our wonderful soloists include: David, Lora, Lillie, Mary, and Jean!

Yesterday, we all gathered to highlight CMA Jill who has done exactly that!
In her own time she worked tirelessly to fix a resident’s broken electric wheelchair, and after a few hours of hard work, got it up and running again! 🧑‍🦼‍➡️

We are proud of Jill for taking her time to show how much she cares and all of our employees at Lakepoint who follow the ILEE way!

If celebrating Christmas were an Olympic sport, I’d say this activity would take the gold🥇
Dan the Pan Man recently visited our residents in AL to spread some early Christmas cheer!
The residents enjoyed and sang-along to Handpan versions of Christmas songs, got decked out in holiday gear, and enjoyed some hot chocolate to boot!
