All About Me! We spent some time looking at examples of clothing inspired by animals and designed our own prints! One or our friends wore the perfect coat as an example today!

All About Me! We wear shoes on our feet! We decorated a shoe and can practice lacing it over and over! We had show and tell outside on this beautiful day!! 👞 👟 🩰 🌞

Monthly storytime with Mrs.Carrie!! 📖

All About Me! Clothing invites children to build confidence with self- help skills, from independently choosing what to wear, taking clothing and shoes on and off, and manipulating button, zippers, and shoe laces! Friday the kids designed a shirt, this week they are using fine motor skills to hang pants on a clothing line using clothespins, and today they decorated a crown to wear on their head! One of our stories of the month that we read each week is about a girl and some monkeys who take her very big hat! We were introduced to all kinds of different hats in this adorable book called The Hats that Laura and Murray Wear, written by my friend and local author, Kim Lewis!

All About Me! Using our 5 senses to explore the world around us! 🌎 👀👂👃👅👐

All About Me! We use our hands to touch! The kids took turns feeling items without looking to see if they could guess what it was! They painted paper with glue and sprinkled sand to create a rough textured art project! 👐

All About Me! We are continuing with the 5 senses! We taste with our tongue and the help of our nose! We made pretend candy bracelets and talked about what each color would taste like! 😋
