One of 6 Meridian's defining moments came in 2020 when we became the first, and remain the only, advisory practice in Kansas to have exchange-traded funds listed on the New York Stock Exchange.

But the story isn't really about ETFs. It started with a client need.
Our investment management team identified challenges clients were facing and developed solutions designed to help address them.

Ten years later, we're still guided by the same question: "What is best for our clients?"

Over the past decade, 6 Meridian has grown from a team of 13 to 34 professionals. But growth was never the goal.

Growth has been the result of staying committed to our clients, our people, and our community. As we've expanded our team, office, capabilities, and leadership, our focus has remained the same: building the depth and resources necessary to serve clients well today and for generations to come.

Amber Helms: 2026 Young Professional Congratulations to Amber Helms, Investment Operations Registered Associate, on being named a 2026 Young Professional by the Wichita Business Journal.

When 6 Meridian opened its doors, we started with zero clients and zero assets under management. What we did have was trust.

We rebuilt our business one relationship at a time, serving families who believed in our vision and allowed us to guide them through important financial decisions.

Many of those same relationships continue today. Others trace back decades before 6 Meridian was ever founded.

Throughout August, the 6 Meridian team came together to support local children through our back-to-school book drive benefiting the YMCA's Kindergarten Readiness Program.

This initiative helps provide books to families to build early literacy skills and prepares children for success in kindergarten. The program has supported more than 3,000 Wichita families through the efforts of the YMCA of Greater Wichita and The Wichita Collective.

Together, employees and clients who visited our office contributed books that will help local children build home libraries, establish reading routines, and foster a love of learning. Thank you to everyone who participated and helped make a meaningful difference for families in our community.

Amanda has been part of 6 Meridian’s story from the very beginning. In her current role, she leads our wealth planning and paraplanner teams, driving initiatives that enhance the client experience, create greater efficiency across the practice, and support the continued development of our people. Her leadership is thoughtful, collaborative, and centered on making a meaningful impact for clients, teammates, and the community.
