A great afternoon with some of the people who make Kansas’ entrepreneurial community so strong!

Alongside Empower, Create Campaign, Wichita Regional Chamber of Commerce, Greater Wichita Partnership, and Wichita Independent Business Association, we all brought together alumni from all of our programs across the region for the Wichita Startup Week Alumni Collective, a by-alumni, for-alumni event focused on sharing experiences, building connections, and learning from one another.

From honest conversations about the entrepreneurial journey to the connections made after the panel, the afternoon was a great reminder of the value of bringing people together beyond the programs that first connected them.

Earlier this week, we celebrated five years of the Enterprise Engagement Series at the Startup-Enterprise Summit during Launch Week !

The afternoon brought together our 2026 EES graduates, Enterprise Partners, sponsors, and community supporters for an afternoon of networking, connection, and 16 pitches from this year’s cohort.

Since 2022, the Enterprise Engagement Series has graduated 96 startups representing seven Midwest states and 22 Kansas counties. Collectively, those companies have generated more than $72 million in lifetime revenue and created or retained 244 jobs.

The NXTSTAGE Community Health & Vibrancy Innovation Showcase, presented by Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Kansas, wrapped up with incredible energy and impact as 16 pilot projects were awarded, with even more collaborations on the horizon for our talented group of finalists and community partners!

These pilot programs represent bold steps toward building a healthier, more vibrant Kansas, with a focus on strengthening rural communities across the state.
