Today’s shipment shows where the process begins. The assembled head shows what comes next after precision machining, finishing, and careful inspection here at Jon Kaase Racing Engines.

The raw casting provides the basic shape, including the intake and exhaust passages and internal water jackets. Our in-house 5-axis CNC machines the critical surfaces and features—shaping combustion chambers, machining mounting surfaces, and preparing locations for valve seats, guides, and hardware.

From there, the seats and guides are installed and finish-machined for proper valve fit and sealing. After cleaning and inspection, the valves, springs, retainers, and remaining components bring the head to its assembled form.

There’s a lot of craftsmanship between these two photos—and every step matters when it’s time to make horsepower.

Congratulations to Chad Havens' Demon Bikini team on winning two top gun trophies at the Lake of The Ozarks Shootout!

The first trophy was claimed with Chad throttling the Demon Bikini-sponsored Skater, powered by Jon Kaase-prepared QC4V turbocharged engines, with Leanna Shadlow driving 163 MPH. Leanna secured the second Top Gun trophy herself, earning the title of Fastest Woman at the event when she piloted the boat solo at 163 MPH.

Alan drove his Kaase Racing Engines-powered Mustang to early-round wins over tough competitors like Jeremy Huffman and used a massive holeshot advantage to defeat Brad Waddle. He then stepped up to face former class champion Johnny Pluchino in the semifinals, before taking down another former champion, John DeFlorian, in the final round! 🔥 Drinkwater also left first on the starting line in both late-round matchups, ultimately securing the massive $50,000 winner's check. 💰

Widely regarded as one of the hottest and most exciting categories in modern drag racing, Mountain Motor Pro Stock has captivated fans across the nation. Driven by remarkable class parity, massive 830-cubic-inch displacement engines, and fierce competition among iconic American auto brands, the class delivers high-octane drama every time the tree drops.

The highly anticipated Mountain Motor Pro Stock Shootout powered by Ross Environmental will feature a massive, $100,000 Guaranteed Purse, fully funded by Ross Environmental, setting the stage for an unforgettable battle at "America's Racetrack."
