𝐒𝐦𝐚𝐥𝐥 𝐩𝐨𝐰𝐝𝐞𝐫 𝐫𝐨𝐨𝐦. 𝐁𝐢𝐠 𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐬𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧. ✨

A narrow band of starburst tile became the starting point for the whole room.

We took it floor-to-ceiling, added a curved floating marble vanity and finished the space with sculptural pendants.

Same room. Completely different impact.

Some give you the plan. Some focus on furnishings and styling. Others stay involved from planning through installation.

The important part? Know what’s included before you hire.

At Stones Design, we make that clear from the beginning.

𝐇𝐨𝐰 𝐌𝐮𝐜𝐡 𝐃𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐠𝐧 𝐇𝐞𝐥𝐩 𝐃𝐨𝐞𝐬 𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐅𝐥𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐝𝐚 𝐇𝐨𝐦𝐞 𝐑𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐲 𝐍𝐞𝐞𝐝?

Maybe you need help making a few confident selections. Or maybe you want a designer involved throughout the whole interior design process.

Those are very different levels of service — and they can be priced differently too.

Before focusing on the fee, start with the amount of design support you actually need.

Sun, humidity and indoor-outdoor traffic can all affect fabrics, flooring and finishes.

That’s why at Stones Design, we consider how the room will actually live before choosing what goes into it.

Same bathroom. Completely different feeling. ✨

Sage green walls, beige tile and a gold-framed shower gave this bathroom a much more dated look.

The redesign introduced marble-look porcelain, warm wood detailing, a freestanding tub and matte black fixtures to create a cleaner, calmer space.

A Smaller Room Doesn’t Always Mean a Smaller Design Fee

A small kitchen renovation can involve more design work than a much larger living room.

It comes down to the scope — layout changes, cabinetry, materials, lighting, sourcing and how much coordination your project needs.

So when comparing design proposals, don’t look at the price alone. Check what’s actually included — and what isn’t.

Okay, Florida homeowners — time for a hot take. 🌶️

Which Florida “design trend” do you secretly think is a scam?

All-white everything? Barn doors everywhere? Open kitchen shelving? Gray wood-look tile?

Pick your culprit 👇 and tell us why. No sitting on the fence.

The price at the top of a design quote isn’t the whole story.

Check the exclusions too.

Extra revisions, added site visits or changes to the original scope may be handled separately — and that can affect what you eventually spend.

At Stones Design, we believe that should be clear from the start.
