The Windsor Water Rats eXpress, WWRX, is a competitive swim program. It's for children between the ages of 5 and 18.
We offer a wide range of opportunities from twice a week recreational swimmers to a more competitive aspect of swimming at the state level. Swim meets are held against other towns during Winter and Summer seasons. The Winter season starts in late October and ending in late February and the Summer season starts in May until the beginning of August. Both seasons end with a league championship meet against 15 other towns.

WWRX showed up and raced for our LAST meet of the season!!! We represented at the Nutmeg State Games on Sunday!!!! Lots of happy swimmers and swimmers trying new events that they had never done before!!!!

This past weekend our USA swimmers competed in the state Age Group Championships meet for swimmers 14 and under!!!! We had a group of 10 swimmers compete as they made the qualification times to earn their way to swim at this meet. They all showed up and killed it through this 4 day meet!!!! Congrats to Carson who placed top 3 in all his breaststroke events and is the state champ on the 50 meter breaststroke! Liv got 2nd in the state in her 200 meter breaststroke! Carson, Liv, and Logan will go on now to compete in the Eastern Zones meet in Virginia next week!!!!
The final WHOOSH of our rec dual meets of the season!!!! Our Seniors were also UNDEFEATED!!!!!! Congrats on an amazing season….. but it isn’t over yet…. It is time to shine and swim our fastest at REC champs on Thursday for our 11 and over swimmers!!!!!

Our Juniors were UNDEFEATED this season!!!! 3 for 3 wins and lots of fast swims!!!!! Now on to Championships for our 10 and unders on Wednesday in Vernon!!!!!
Double win again this week!!!! Awesome job to all our swimmers!!!

Our first set of meets are complete for our Summer 2026 season!!!! How about we do it all over again next week????
We won both our meets, results have been emailed, and posted on the pool deck!!!!
