Lapp Racing

Last night was amazing. They had Jim come out on the track during the open ceremonies and when they drove around all of the bandit drivers stood on the off ramp to wave at Jim for his retirement from racing. What a heart warming show of respect.

Jim qualified 6th which put him on the pole for the fast dash. Jim was able to hold on for the win.🏁 In the feature he finished 9th.

Cassidy was able to wave the green flag for the start of Jim last feature.

So the time has come for Jim's last race of this season and possibly retiring from racing. It has been 16 years of racing and we are so blessed with all of the friends we have made over the years. Hopefully the rain holds off for a great night of racing tomorrow at Dells Raceway Park!!!

Saturday nights results. Jim qualified 11th out of 15 cars. In the heat race he finished 2nd. In the feature he finished 6th. We have finally got the car handling better. Our next race is on August 15th.

Cooler temps will make it a great day for racing!!! Hope to see you there!!!

Recap from last night. Qualifying didn't go well. Jim qualified 11th. In the heat race Jim took the leading and in the last lap was passed and ended up 3rd. In the feature Jim had one of his fastest laps so far this year but the heat started to effected him and he finished 11th. Our division is off next week.

Just wanted to let everyone know Jim will not be racing tomorrow. We have prior commitments. We will be back racing July 18th.

The car is clean and ready to go for tomorrow.

This week was up and down. The car seemed good in practice. Qualifying was off but the heat race was good. In the feature the car just wouldn't handle so instead of ruining someone else's day Jim stayed to the back of the pack. We are off this coming weekend and will be back to race on the 27th.
