Mojo Music

❤️ so looking forward to hearing the new song!

OUR BIG ANNOUNCEMENT IS HERE 📣 📣 📣

🎶 Stix & Stones is proud to present our very own studio! We had our first practice in it last night! Complete success along with 4 sweet smiles! 🎶

Just a few days ago, this studio was only an idea. In that incredibly short amount of time, the hard work and dedication of our amazing parents transformed it into something truly special. It is now a bright, clean, open and welcoming space where the kids can practice, be themselves and build upon their dreams. It also gives them a place to spend time together outside of structured rehearsals, where they can share ideas, experiment with new sounds, collaborate and simply enjoy being together. This is a space where their creativity, friendships and music can continue to grow.

We are also beyond excited to announce that Stix & Stones has begun working on our very first original song, which we hope to produce over the next few months! We cannot wait to see where this next chapter takes them.

It was only a couple of years ago that these kids walked into Mojo Music, each beginning their own musical path, and met owners Bob and Bonnie Hufford. Bob saw something special in each of them, brought them together as a band and started a journey none of us could have imagined. We had no idea how quickly a group of strangers could become a family.

Even though Bob and Bonnie sold Mojo Music last year, Bob’s commitment to Stix & Stones never changed. We are incredibly happy and grateful that he has chosen to continue this journey with us. As we begin this exciting new chapter, we truly cannot imagine moving forward without him by our side. We are also very thankful to Mojo Music’s new owners, Trevis and Karen, for providing the band with a place to practice throughout the past year.

One of the most amazing parts of this journey has been watching so many talented artists and musicians from our area step up to support these kids. Whether offering guidance, sharing their experience, welcoming the kids onto their stages, encouraging them or simply believing in what they are building, their kindness and willingness to help have meant more to us than words can say. We feel incredibly fortunate to be surrounded by such an amazing and supportive music community.

Thank you to every person who helped make this dream a reality. This is only the beginning, and we look forward to sharing our progress with all of you!

Stix & Stones also has a few more shows on the books for this fall—dates and details will be announced soon! 🤘🎸🥁

I love a good violin and guitar duet. It’s hard to find classical mixes with guitar and this is certainly a favorite 😍
