Now on display at the Main Library, "The Hidden Census: Data as Resistance: Visualizing Black and Nipmuc Presence in Revolutionary-Era Central Massachusetts" shines a light on the lives of Black and Nipmuc people whose stories have often been overlooked in historical records. Through data visualizations, archival materials, and accessible interpretation, this community-led traveling exhibit offers a powerful new perspective on Central Massachusetts 250 years ago.

Created through the work of the Worcester Black History Project and Nipmuc Indian Development Corp., the exhibit is on view on the first floor of the Main Library throughout the month of August.
