Sunprinting. Blueprints. Cyanotypes! 

Enjoy some fun in the mid-day sun and learn about the one of oldest forms of photography! All we need is sun and water in order to make some magic on the paper happen.

Whether you’ve made cyanotypes before, or have never heard of them, this class will meet every skill level. You’ll take home four different prints, and educators who attend will also receive a certificate for Professional Development hours and a lesson plan.

Want to carve out some time to take an art class?

Join our printmaking teacher, Ms. B, this week for an introductory printmaking class!

You will be learning how to carve linoleum blocks and then printing with them onto paper. Materials will be included with your ticket.

NEW CLASS ALERT!

What even is plein air painting? “Plein air”, which is a French phrase which literally translates to “in the open air”, is a style of painting which is done entirely outdoors.

Our new instructor, George Smith, will be taking his class from the C.C. Lowell building over to Elm Park to sharpen their plein air painting skills in acrylics. The class mainly focuses on perspective, color-mixing, composition, and texture.
