From her roots in the Woo's local drag scene to captivating the nation on RuPaul's Drag Race, Joslyn has spent nearly two decades lighting up Worcester with glamour, wit, and heart — and tonight we're celebrating both her birthday and 20 years of magic in Kelley Square. 🏆✨

In the summer of 2006, Patrick Joslyn got his first DJ gig on Water Street in Worcester, Massachusetts, playing disco for a Sunday night dance party and the songs for a drag show. Dropping his last name Joslyn for his middle name Allen, it would be a few weeks in before the host of the drag show would kindly ask Patrick to refrain from lip syncing along with the drag queens’ songs... “You’re doing a better job than they are... have you ever considered being a drag queen yourself?” Eventually the Sunday night DJ was spinning in drag and Joslyn Fox was born. Years of immersing in and creating Worcester’s q***r nightlife and earning a Miss Gay Worcester title, led to RuPaul’s Drag Race and worldwide ventures, yet local roots run deep as Joslyn continues to flourish where it all began.
