ZEMA

In 2026, ~150 people will attend the ZEFA conference at Sunbury this weekend . Many will travel hours to attend. In 2025, one pastor arrived from Zimbabwe!

Kit is a TEAM missionary who has been working with ZEMA since 2015. Kit ministers to young amaZioni students who are studying at public universities. Kit's ministry focus is to study God's Word with these students. He loves to visit their Zion churches to build relationships as he proclaims God's Word!

Pray for the ZEFA Annual Conference, held every year on the 2nd weekend in October. Pray for the ZEFA Council as they organize the event. Pray for everyone's safety on their travels. Pray for the unity and fellowship of Zion Pastors. Pray God would be glorified, and the Name of Jesus would be lifted up in the services and the hearts of all who attend.

Jeff and Kim began ministering with ZEMA in 2019. Jeff teaches at the ZEBS in Hammersdale and Mayville. Kim maintains ZEMA's websites: ZEMA.org, and ZEMASA.co.za. Together, Jeff and Kim have a ministry of mentoring and discipleship of families and youth.

Please pray for God's guidance and spiritual sensitivity as we serve the amazioni around Durban. Pray for spiritual protection over our family, that our minds and hearts be guarded and strengthened as we follow Him. Pray for Jeff and Kim, as we seek to streamline our business and make more time available for our ministry, personal, and spiritual growth. Pray for our kids, for God-honoring relationships, direction, and wisdom in work and school, spiritual growth, and discernment from the world's distractions.

Barry & Louise Adkins have been missionaries with ZEMA in the Eastern Cape since 2005. They are both involved in the ministries of discipleship and pastoral care for amaZioni Church leaders. Mentoring and studying God's Word with men and women, respectively, the Adkins come alongside the leaders in their communities as they serve God and one another.

Greg and Sarah joined the ZEMA family in 2022. Greg teaches ZEBS and This We Believe classes in the Eastern Cape and Malawi, and preaches wherever he is invited. Together, they enjoy training and mentoring those who come to these schools, as well as conducting Sunday School training and Scripture Union Bible clubs.

Pray for guidance to new focus areas for our ministry: sports, youth, the relationship of fathers with their children. May God open doors for revival among the amazioni youth in our city! Pray that God would provide more ministry partners, both locally and from abroad.

The Annual Zion Teachers’ Conference brings together ministry leaders from ZEBS and ZBC across Southern Africa. At this conference, leaders are equipped, inspired, and strengthened in their leadership and teaching skills. Through workshops, training sessions, and times of fellowship, we trust God to build His Kingdom beginning with us. TOGETHER. MATURING. SERVING. GROWING.
