The sooner you start planning, the less you have to do each week to prepare. Let's start by checking our non-perishable food supplies and make a list of what you'll need for your family. On a budget? Buy a little bit each week. Don't forget a can opener! (For bonus points, put your supplies in a plastic tote. You'll be less likely to use them up accidentally and they'll be protected from water if your home is damaged in a storm.)
