Caliber Rescue

A safe rescue takes people working together.

When a patient fell into an approximately 14-foot-deep cistern on St. Croix, V.I. Fire and Emergency Medical Services, St. Croix Rescue, and Caliber Rescue came together to provide medical care and technical rescue support.

We’re grateful to everyone who responded and relieved that the patient was brought out safely. This is what cooperation among government responders, volunteers, and the private sector can look like when our community needs us.

Thank you to The Virgin Islands Consortium for sharing the story.

Fire watch is about more than being present. It takes consistent coverage, clear logs, and prompt reporting when something needs attention.

What began as a 10-day project with 12-hour shifts grew into eight weeks of around-the-clock coverage for Caliber Rescue. Our personnel maintained fire watch logs and documented leaks, faults, hazards, and other safety concerns for the project team.

Whether you need overnight coverage or a staffed 24/7 schedule, we can help keep your project covered and your team informed.

Doing the right thing, with the right people, at the right time, for the right reasons, all the time.
