World's largest Volkswagen event in the Caribbean...takes place annually on the island of St. Croix, U.S. Virgin Islands (aka - America's Paradise).
Today's feature hails from the island of St. Croix, and we're reminded that nothing you value comes the easy way. To purchase, restore and maintain a classic car on an island, parts must come by plane or sea. Means; nothing comes cheap. This 1955 Oval Beetle is owned by Vince Nestor who was born and raised on St. Croix. Vince has had this beautiful machine in his possession for 40 years. Yes, you heard that right! In this clip, it's very evident; Vince loves his pride and joy. 🇻🇮💪🙌

Today's featured VW hails from the island of St. Croix, where the owner was born and raised. Stephen Charles, a humbly retired Air Force veteran 🫡 is now living his dream in America's Paradise. A former Bee Farmer of the Year 2024, Stephen is still an active bee keeper. On some days, he's also out at sea fishing in open waters, and other days, he's cruising the streets in his 1949 Split Window Beetle (AKA - "49 Reasons". This Frost Green beauty is Stephen's pride and joy. Let's hear the story behind his build here:
