SUB-90… THEN TOOK ANOTHER 2 MINUTES OFF.

Flashback to a huge result from Blair Rooney at the Inverloch Half Marathon.

Already running well under the 90-minute barrier, Blair went from 1:27:52 → 1:25:50

At this level, PBs don’t come easy. Taking another 2:02 off an already seriously quick half marathon is a massive result.

Quality training. Consistent ex*****on. Another PB ticked off. 👏

Chasing your own PB at an upcoming race? DM Run Rogue today and let’s build a program around you and your goal.

Building towards something bigger 👊

A huge congratulations to Mani on running a new Half Marathon PB at Run Melbourne a couple of weeks ago!

While a PB is always worth celebrating, what makes this result even more exciting is that it came in the middle of marathon preparation.

Mani is currently training for his first marathon at the Geelong Marathon in September through our Rogue Apex + Performance Program, combining personalised running programming with structured strength training.

This result wasn’t about chasing a half marathon PB—it was the product of weeks of consistent work, showing up to every session, and trusting the process.

That’s what consistency does.

It builds fitness that carries across every distance and gives you confidence heading into your goal race.

Congratulations brother! This is a fantastic milestone, but we’re only getting started. Geelong is the main event, and this performance is a great sign of what’s to come.

Three months of consistent work. One long-awaited PB. 💥

A huge congratulations to Nick Alston on running a new 10km Personal Best at Run Melbourne a few weeks ago‼️

When Nick Alston joined Run Rogue three months ago, the goal was simple: break a 10km PB that had stood for over two years.

Like many of our athletes, he wasn’t just training. He was balancing university, work, and everything else life throws at you.

Instead of chasing perfection, we focused on consistency. Getting the key sessions done, adapting when needed, and trusting the process week after week.

On race day, it all came together.

🏅 New 10km PB
🏅 Goal achieved
🏅 Proof that smart, consistent training beats trying to do everything.

Congratulations brother! You earned this one, and it’s exciting to think about what’s next.

The best coaches don’t just tell you what you want to hear—they tell you what you need to hear.

One of the biggest responsibilities of a coach is providing honest feedback.

Sometimes that means holding an athlete back.

Sometimes it means adjusting expectations.

Sometimes it means reminding them to ignore everyone else on race day and trust the plan.

That’s not always the easiest advice to hear in the moment, but it’s often what leads to the best outcomes.

Daniella’s feedback highlights exactly what we strive for at Run Rogue.

Clear communication. Honest guidance. A structured plan. And race-day strategies that athletes can trust when the excitement kicks in.

Anyone can get caught up in the atmosphere of a marathon.

The athletes who execute their race plan—especially in the opening kilometres—are usually the ones finishing strongest.

Seeing it all come together for Daniella on race day was incredibly rewarding. 👏

🚨🚨FINAL CALL: Melbourne Marathon Festival 2026

Less than 10 weeks until race day.

At this stage, you’re not trying to build fitness from scratch—you’re sharpening it. The work you do over the next eight weeks can make the difference between simply finishing and racing to your potential.

If you’re already training but want:
• A structured, race-specific plan
• Individualised coaching
• Guidance on pacing, sessions and recovery
• Confidence heading into race day

…this is your last opportunity to join the Run Rogue 8-Week Build, starting August 17.

Whether you’re taking on the Marathon, Half Marathon, 10km, 5km or 3km at the Melbourne Marathon Festival, your program is built around your experience, your schedule and your goals.

This is the final call for registrations. If you’ve been thinking about it, now’s the time to reach out.

A great training plan doesn’t just tell you what to run. It gives you confidence every step of the way.

Every athlete is different.

Different fitness levels. Different goals. Different schedules.

That’s why we don’t believe in generic training plans.

Marty’s program was built around him—his starting point, his goal, and his lifestyle. As his fitness improved, so did the training, ensuring every session had a purpose and moved him closer to race day.

But coaching doesn’t stop when the plan is delivered.

Questions come up. Life changes. Training needs adjusting.

Having direct access to your coach means you can spend less time second-guessing and more time focusing on your running.

Thanks for trusting me Marty Vicente. I really appreciate the kind words👌
