WIBDI extends its warmest congratulations to our valued partner, Nuanua O Le Alofa (NOLA), on the historic election of Mataafa Faatino Utumapu to the United Nations Committee on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (CRPD Committee).
This remarkable achievement is not only a proud moment for NOLA, but for all of Samoa and the Pacific. Mataafa's leadership, dedication, and tireless advocacy for the rights and inclusion of persons with disabilities continue to inspire us all.
We celebrate this milestone and the global recognition of Pacific voices in advancing human rights, equality, and inclusive development.

Fa'amalo lava Mataafa Faatino Utumapu, NOLA, and everyone who contributed to this incredible achievement. WIBDI is proud to stand alongside partners who are creating positive change and ensuring that no one is left behind.

We were deeply honoured and privileged to meet the Governor-General of Australia, Her Excellency Sam Mostyn AC, at the recent NGO Talanoa event hosted by the Tautua Program. Grateful for the opportunity to connect, share perspectives, and strengthen partnerships that support our communities.

Following the success of our previous Financial Literacy Training, WIBDI, in partnership with Alinea International under the Pasifika WE Guardians Project, recently held another session aimed at further strengthening the financial knowledge and business skills of our farmers.
This continuation seeks to reach more farmers and build their confidence in managing both agricultural and household finances effectively.
Fa’afetai tele lava to Samoa Business Hub for facilitating this important training and for their continued support in empowering our farming communities through financial literacy and business development.
