DOCA Brass Ensemble
The Ensemble was established in May of 2008 by individuals associated with De La Salle Oakland Crusaders Alumni (DOCA). In fact, previous drum corps participation is not a requisite. 50% of our current roster did not play in Del or Crusaders and half of that group never participated with a drum corps. Bb horns and a rhythm section complete with electric bass offer a unique sound, blending the spirit of drum corps with contemporary arranging and instrumentation. We will consider any performance opportunity. We invite any brass or percussion players who would like to keep musically active to join us.
