Eland. WHICH THEORY IS CORRECT?
1/ the clicking sound you hear when eland walk is according to National Geographic caused by a tendon slipping over a bone in the knee as it walks creating a distinctive vibrating sound.
2/ Other experts maintain that this clicking sound emanates from their hooves splaying open as they walk and closing when the foot is lifted.
