PROACTIVE ARREST

Vanes Estate - Ross Gradwell Street

This morning during proactive patrols in Vanes, our Sentry response units spotted a male suspect exiting a residential yard in Ross Gradwell Street.

Officers K1 and K3 immediately detained the suspect and confirmed that theft had taken place at the property.

This is exactly why proactive patrolling works.

Criminals don't wait to be called - and neither do we. By keeping our vehicles moving and our officers vigilant in Vanes and surrounding areas, we are able to intercept crime as it happens, not just respond after the fact.

We remain committed to keeping Vanes safe.

SUCCESSFUL ARREST - HOFMEYR STREET

Another win for proactive security!

Our AI camera detected movement and tracked the suspect as he entered a client's premises in Hofmeyr Str.

Response officers K1 & K3 were immediately dispatched and stood down within 2 minutes.

Constant communication with our Control Room and exact movement details led to the discovery of the suspect hiding inside the flat.

Suspect was arrested and handed over to SAPS.

This is the power of AI + Human Response working together.

Been a busy start to the Festive Season here in Addo, suspects were spotted on our AI Road Cameras and detained by H1 and Senior response office SF1 not long after. What might bring these suspects a few rands has cost the farm where these nets were stolen from thousands. Suspects has been handed over to SAPS and a case of theft has been opened.
