🚨 HIJACKED TRUCK RECOVERED 🚨
GLENVISTA - JOHANNESBURG

Earlier this morning, a truck was hijacked in the Booysens area by approximately 7–8 armed suspects, reportedly travelling in a white Toyota Quantum and armed with ri**es.

Following the hijacking, the truck’s tracking system was activated and information regarding its location was received.

CPS Security’s Tactical Team responded and successfully located and recovered the hijacked truck on Klipriver Road in Glenvista.

Tracker SA and SAPS responded to the scene to assist with the recovery and further investigation.

Another successful recovery through rapid response, tracking technology and teamwork. 👊

🚨 ARMED ROBBERY OCCURRED – STOLEN TLB RECOVERED🚨
ALBERTON - EKURHULENI

Earlier this morning, a group of approximately 4-5 suspects forced their way Into a premises and held the occupants at gunpoint while stealing a TLB construction vehicle.

The vehicle’s tracking device was activated, immediately alerting our response team. Our team responded swiftly, tracked the TLB to the Turfontein area and successfully recovered it before handing it back to the rightful owners. No suspects were arrested.

This incident highlights the importance of vehicle tracking technology and rapid armed response in the recovery of stolen assets. It also serves as a reminder to ensure that your alarm systems are armed and fully activated at night. Taking this simple precaution can help protect your home, family, business, and property.

🚨 CABLE THEFT SUSPECT CAUGHT IN THE ACT – GLENVISTA 🚨

In the early hours of the morning, a CPS Security Reaction Officer was conducting routine patrols in the Glenvista area when he noticed a suspicious individual near electrical cables at the corner of Mount Pellan Drive and Mariepskof Street.

Upon investigating, our officer discovered the suspect actively cutting the cables.

The suspect was immediately apprehended and detained by CPS Security, preventing the theft from being completed and potentially saving the area from further damage and disruption.

SAPS was contacted and attended to the matter for further investigation and processing.

This is another example of why proactive patrols and visible armed response remain so important — our teams are out there around the clock, keeping watch while our communities sleep. 💪

🚨 ATT HOUSEBREAKING 🚨
MEREDALE - JOHANNESBURG

Another successful response in Meredale has highlighted the importance of having an active alarm system/early warning system armed response in place.

In the early hours of the morning, an activation was received from a residential premises following an attempted theft. Our control room immediately dispatched a reaction officer to the property.

On arrival, the reaction officer found that three suspects attempting to flee the premises with property they had taken.

The situation was secured, and Mondeor SAPS were notified and attended the scene.

👏 Well done to our reaction officer and control room team for the swift response and coordination with SAPS.

This incident is another reminder that early detection, a reliable alarm system and a fast security response can make all the difference.

🚨FAILED GETAWAY ENDS IN ARREST🚨
VOORTREKKER RD - ALBERTON

CPS Security received multiple panic activations from a business premises after suspects entered the business posing as potential buyers.

While engaging with the owner, the suspects allegedly distracted him before attempting to flee the premises with a flat-screen television.

Members of the community pursued the suspect. Through a joint effort, the suspect was apprehended, and CPS Security detained the suspect until Alberton SAPS arrived. The television was also successfully recovered.

It was also established that the suspects had a getaway vehicle parked around the corner, which was subsequently located.

Alberton SAPS attended the scene and took custody of the suspect for further investigation and processing.

We thank the community members involved for their assistance. This incident once again demonstrates the value of teamwork and cooperation in combating crime.

🚨 SUSPICIOUS VEHICLE STOP LEADS TO ARRESTS – ALBERTON 🚨

During routine patrols, CPS Security members identified a suspicious vehicle travelling without number plates.

The vehicle was stopped with the assistance of EMPD CLU, and one of the occupants was immediately recognised as a suspect previously arrested in connection with bank card scamming.

During a search of the vehicle, mobile card payment machines were discovered concealed inside a hidden compartment behind the glove compartment.

These devices are suspected of being used as part of a card-scamming operation whereby victims' bank cards are obtained and transactions are processed against their accounts.

The suspects were arrested for defeating the ends of justice and are currently being taken to Alberton SAPS, where they will be profiled and investigated for possible links to further cases.

⚠️ IMPORTANT: If you were a victim of any bank card scam or suspicious card activity today in the Alberton or Glenvista areas, please report the matter to SAPS and provide CPS Security with your case number. This may assist investigators in linking additional cases to the suspects and the card machines recovered.

TIP-OFF LEADS TO ARREST
GERMISTON – EKURHULENI

Following information received from a member of the public regarding the alleged sale of crystal m**h, CPS Security, together with EMPD CLU, followed up on the information.

The suspect was located and searched, resulting in the recovery of multiple packets of suspected crystal m**h and cash. The suspect was arrested and subsequently detained at Germiston SAPS for further investigation and processing.

We would like to thank the member of the public who came forward with the information. Reliable information from the community plays an important role in assisting law enforcement and security services in combating crime.

We encourage members of the public to continue reporting suspicious or criminal activity.

ATTEMPTED CABLE THEFT FOILED

During a routine patrol in Brackendowns, a CPS Security reaction officer noticed som**hing suspicious — two individuals inside a manhole, allegedly busy with cables. 👀

Backup was immediately requested, and additional CPS members responded to assist.

🚨 Two suspects were detained on scene.

SAPS Brackendowns was contacted and informed of the incident, with the necessary follow-up procedures initiated.

👏 Well done to our CPS Security reaction team for staying alert, identifying suspicious activity and taking swift action!
