Did you know the season can influence the flavour of honey?
Our Zambian honey is harvested at different times of the year, and the flowers available to the bees can change with the seasons.
That means one harvest may have a familiar floral sweetness, while another can have more distinctive herbal, spicy or liquorice-like notes.

Our Zambian winter harvest, for example, can have a more distinctive flavour profile depending on the seasonal flowering available to the bees.

Five eyes. One very busy bee. 🐝Honey bees have two compound eyes and three smaller eyes called ocelli. Pretty impressive for something that makes honey! 🍯

Don't worry. 🍯
Honey naturally crystallises over time. It's a natural process and doesn't mean your honey has gone bad.

Prefer it smooth? Gently warm the honey to return it to a liquid consistency.

Honey bees usually forage much closer to home, but when they need to, they can travel up to 16 km from their hive in search of nectar and pollen.

Now that's a serious commute. 😂🍯
