South Africa’s economy is holding steady – but inflation risks are rising 📊🌍

Global oil prices remain above $100 per barrel, keeping pressure on inflation and potentially delaying future interest rate cuts.

Locally, CPI remains just above 3% and PPI just above 2%, but rising electricity and water costs are adding pressure to producer prices.

Still, there are strong positives: a R77 billion trade surplus, rising vehicle sales and continued expansion in private sector activity.
