A relationship is something you build.
It's easy to leave an event with a stack of business cards, new LinkedIn connections and a longer contact list.
The harder part starts afterwards.
Remember the conversation.
Follow up because you were genuinely interested.
Share something useful.
Keep your word.
And don't only reach out when you need something.
Great relationships are built long after the introduction.
