Last week, a fire broke out at our Hennopspark manufacturing facility, and the patience, understanding and support you've shown us since has meant everything.

Here's where things stand:

- Production is up and running again, thanks to the incredible commitment of our team.

- Deliveries and orders continued wherever possible, and we're working flat out to restore normal service levels as quickly as we can.

On 16 September, a fire occurred in a localised section of our factory. We are relieved and grateful to share that our entire team was evacuated safely, and everyone remains completely unhurt.

Our heartfelt thanks go to the men and women of CERT-SA, the City of Tshwane Emergency Services, and all the first responders who acted with speed, courage and professionalism. Thanks to their efforts and our facility's safety systems, the situation was brought under control quickly. We are assessing the facility in full and will share a further update in due course.

To our neighbours in Hennopspark, Rooihuiskraal, The Reeds and the surrounding Centurion communities, thank you for your patience and understanding while emergency vehicles operated in the area. We sincerely apologise for any disruption or worry this may have caused.

Stevensons Paints has been a proud part of the South African community since 1979. Buildings can be repaired and operations can pause, but people are irreplaceable, and we are simply thankful that our work family is safe. We will work closely with the relevant authorities over the coming days to assess the site and resume operations safely.
