It has been a fruitful week in Riverside Katriver Farm 🌱

Each leader or potential leader is precious in God’s eyes. We help them to see their God-given value and remind them of their potential.

At Ceres Fruit Growers, leadership development is being approached as a long-term investment in people.

Anida Training is currently working with a third group of Learning Supervisors as part of a mentorship programme designed to develop the next generation of leaders.

Through a combination of leadership and management development, personal skills development and mentorship, learners are equipped with the tools and confidence to take on greater responsibility over time.

But development doesn’t stop in the training room.

With managers who support their growth and create opportunities for them to put their learning into practice, these emerging leaders are given the opportunity to turn development into real-world experience.

Because developing people today creates stronger leaders for tomorrow.

Meet Lionell Nock from Eselfontein, Ceres.

Lionell joined a mentorship programme focused on developing his leadership, management and personal capabilities. Through that process, he grew in confidence and ability — and was promoted from Supervisor to Production Manager.

But the journey doesn’t stop at the promotion.

Lionell is now continuing with the next level of the mentorship programme, focusing on developing his skills as a leader and manager.

A big part of this journey is having the right support around you. His manager, Vernon, has backed his development by creating opportunities for Lionell to step up, learn and lead.

Because developing people isn’t just about preparing them for a position — it’s about giving them the tools, support and opportunities to grow into it.

We’re excited to see where Lionell’s leadership journey takes him next. 🌱
