As the curtain comes down on the 2025/26 racing season, we look back with an enormous sense of pride and gratitude.

Operating with a relatively small string, we are extremely proud to have competed so successfully at the highest level.

Our black-type runners represented the yard with distinction, led by Asiye Phambili’s memorable victory in the Grade 1 South African Fillies Sprint for Hollywood Racing.

She followed that outstanding performance with a gallant third against the colts and geldings in the Grade 1 Mercury Sprint.

Hierarchy also produced an excellent performance to finish fourth in the Grade 1 South African Fillies Sprint, while the exciting two-year-old Kazenoyoni brought the season to a fitting close with a superb second in the Grade 1 World Pool Moment Of The Day Champion Stakes.

To have three horses from a small yard performing with such credit at Grade 1 level is an achievement of which the entire Howells Racing team can be immensely proud.

None of this would be possible without the loyal support of our owners and clients, who entrust us with their horses and continue to support the yard through every high and low. Our sincere thanks also go to our sponsors, Hollywoodbets, for their valued and ongoing support.

To our jockeys, work riders, grooms, veterinary team, farriers and physios and every person working tirelessly behind the scenes, thank you. These achievements belong to the entire team.
