Your laptop needs airflow.

Your bed doesn’t exactly help with that.

😅 Blocked airflow can contribute to heat problems.

Keep vents clear and give your machine a proper surface to breathe on.

Small habit.

Potentially big difference

I thought I was going to have to buy another one.

That’s one of the best things a customer can say after we’ve checked a device.

Sometimes the problem is serious. Sometimes it isn’t.

The important part is finding out before spending money unnecessarily.

If your laptop is giving you trouble, bring it in.

We’ll tell you what we find.

Bring it in

“We’d rather tell you not to buy it.”

Sometimes the right answer is: don’t buy that one.

If someone walks in asking for a laptop that doesn’t actually suit what they need, selling it anyway might make today’s sale.

It doesn’t make tomorrow’s customer happy.

We’d rather understand what you’re using it for first. That’s how you avoid buying twice.

3 things to check before buying a laptop

Buying a laptop?
Don’t start with the brand.

Start with what you need it to do. 1. What software will you run?
2. How much storage do you actually need?
3. Will you carry it every day?

A student, accountant, gamer and business owner don’t necessarily need the same machine.

The right laptop is the one that fits the job

Your laptop probably isn’t just getting old.

Sometimes it’s heat. Sometimes storage.

Sometimes a battery.

Sometimes it’s simply being pushed harder than it was designed for.

Before you spend money on a new laptop, find out what’s actually wrong with the one you have.

Bring it to XComputers in Durban and let us check it properly.
