This August, we are shining a spotlight on the remarkable women who make a difference in our communities every day.

Behind every strong community is a woman whose kindness, resilience, leadership and compassion inspire those around her. This Women's month we want to celebrate these everyday heroes by sharing their stories.

Do you know a woman whose story deserves to be heard?

Simply nominate her by sharing:

A photo of her with a short caption explaining her impact OR

A 30-second video telling us why she inspires you,

Please include her name and contact details so we can get in touch if she’s selected.

Help us celebrate the women who are creating lasting change, one story at a time.

Submit your nomination via Facebook , instagram or Tik Tok before 16 August 26.

Winner will be announced 24 Aug 26

The need for quality school shoes doesn't end on 18 July. We're inviting select corporate partners to move beyond a once-off gesture and into a standing collaboration — co-branded donation drives, back-to-school campaigns, or a recurring CSI allocation supported by Smart Steps' exclusive corporate rates.

Since 1989, we've built the sourcing, sizing and distribution infrastructure to make this easy on your side, so your team gets the impact and the story, without the logistics. If your organisation is thinking about CSI as a relationship rather than a line item, we'd like to start that conversation this Mandela Day.

A child who walks into class in shoes that fit, that don't leak, that don't fall apart by mid-term — that's a child who can focus on learning instead of on what other children might notice.

This Mandela Day, Smart Steps is partnering with corporates who want their giving to be felt, not just seen. Our exclusive discounted rates on quality school shoes mean your donation goes further, reaching more children with comfort, durability and dignity built in.

Whether you're supporting a school, a community organisation, or a charity close to your team's heart, we'll help you turn your contribution into something a child can literally stand tall in.
