I have a passion for dance and want to pass this onto all aspiring young dancers.I teach from the DASA syllabus. I encourage own expression in a fun manner
Welcome to a fun-filled year of Ballet. I studied under Cynthia Bevan for 15 years, Joy Cooper as well as José Pretorius at the National School of Arts in Johannesburg where I attended school. I am familiar with both the Cecchetti and RAD method of ballet and am now part of Dance Academy of SA. I have been teaching for many years both at nursery schools and at my home studio (100m2). I teach pupils from aged 2.5yrs onwards. I have a passion for dance and want to pass this onto all aspiring young dancers, together with all my knowledge I have gained teaching over 200 pupils over 2 decades. Dance teaches expression, poise, the love of movement and music and develops fine and gross motor skills. I teach from the DASA syllabus but bring my experience with the RAD and Cecchetti methods as well. I encourage own expression, a sense of accomplishment and an essence of discipline in a loving and fun manner. I strive to instill the love of ballet in each dancer.
