What Makes an Installer Company PV GreenCard Ready? ☀️🔧

Not every solar PV installation company automatically qualifies to issue a PV GreenCard.

To register as a PV GreenCard Installer Company, a company must meet key requirements, including:

✅ Have a full-time employee who has successfully passed the PV GreenCard Assessment
✅ Be registered with the Department of Employment and Labour as an electrical contractor
✅ Comply with SAPVIA Installation Guidelines, relevant SANS Standards, municipal SSEG requirements and other applicable regulations
✅ Renew its registration annually to reaffirm its commitment to safe, compliant and quality solar PV installations

Importantly, only employees who have passed the PV GreenCard Assessment are eligible to issue a PV GreenCard As-Built Report .
