In the interior and decor industry it’s all about survival of the fittest. And to go from good to better to fabulous for more than a decade, surely means something! Shabby 2 Chic has been serving the public for almost 16 years and has come a long way since then. The team at Shabby2Chic comprises of 2 decorators and 6 full-time upholsters and seamstresses. Our 2 decorators, Elmarie Barnard, Inge Van Zyl all have years of experience within this field. Elmarie has got 16 years’ of decorating experience behind her, Inge (head of design) started off in the bridal industry, but decided to join the team 8 years ago. She received an international degree in Italian Patternmaking and Design, and has a broad knowledge in textile and colour layouts. And then there’s the team in the workshop without whom the picture just wouldn’t be complete. These 6 people each has over 10 years’ of experience and truly are the experts in their field. Their work are always of the highest quality and standard.
