Every property gets some love between guest stays, and sometimes that means a full paint refresh. Our maintenance team spent the day giving this apartment in Cape Town CBD a fresh coat, making sure it's looking as good as new before the next guest walks in.

We've got some good news.
We've been named a finalist for Best Property Management for Short-Term Rentals at the Skift IDEA Awards, one of the travel industry's biggest awards for design, innovation, and creativity.
It's a nice moment to be recognised alongside some of the best in the industry for the work we do every day.
Winners are announced end of August, fingers crossed.

We went around the office and asked everyone the same question: what's your favourite thing about working here? Almost every answer came back the same way. Not the snacks, not the desks, just the people. Turns out that's the part you can't design for, and it might be the best thing about this place.

Right in the heart of Alfama, walkable to everywhere, and a team that sorted a self check-in on the spot when a delayed train threw the plan off. This is the kind of stay we love hearing about.

Fresh paint, new furniture, new decor, and yes, Billy built that table himself. Our property manager got fully hands-on with this refresh, all while the cleaning team worked around him to get it guest-ready.
This is what hands-off ownership actually looks like on our end, even if it's anything but hands-off for us.
Highlights from the UCT Epic Job Expo. Our stand had a full lounge set, a popcorn machine, and our People team bringing the energy all day.
Most of the day went to chatting with students about our internships, easily our favourite part. Giving young people a real shot matters to us, so it was great talking through our three internship tracks and what life at Propr actually looks like.
