Mackers has three well appointed self catering cottages with mountain views and 10 Glamping Tents on the banks of the Sabie River, Mackers invites you to enjoy a tranquil stay in the town of Hazyview, Mpumalanga.. Situated on a 30 hectare farm on the Panorama Route, and only a 28 kilometres from Kruger National Park, Mackers offers a peaceful getaway in the heart of the Mpumalanga Lowveld. The cottages at the Bird Hide at Mackers is nestled amongst indigenous trees and overlooking the Sabie Valley, with the sound of waterfalls on the Sabie River. With fully equipped kitchens and comfortable bedrooms, our spacious cottages allow you to enjoy a comfortable stay at affordable rates. Our Glamping tents are directly on the river with all the comforts of indoor fireplaces, outdoor braai Pitts and sleep 5 people comfortably in two rooms. Relax on the deck whilst listening to the sound of the Sabie River. On site there is a beautiful hiking trail. Mackers is also home to over 250 species of birds, making this a birder's paradise. Listen closely and you’ll hear its cheerful “tink… tink… tink” call echoing through the trees 🌳🎶. The Yellow-fronted Tinkerbird is a tiny burst of colour with a big personality, often spotted flitting between branches near the river 🌊💚
