The Freedom Front Plus (VF Plus) is offering a reward for any information that could lead to the conviction of perpetrators who tore down a large number of the party's election posters in the Mogale City Local Municipality.

The damage already amounts to thousands of rand, with the most serious incidents having occurred in Voortrekker Avenue, Robert Broom Road and Fredrick Cooper Street in Krugersdorp.

This week, the Freedom Front Plus leader, Dr Corné Mulder, visited the Vaal and southern Gauteng as part of his “It is Time” Tour.

Public meetings were held in Heidelberg, Walkerville, Evaton and Vanderbijlpark, and his tour of the province was concluded on Thursday evening at Stonehaven.

The Freedom Front Plus (VF Plus) welcomes the findings of the Special Investigating Unit (SIU) regarding the fraudulent transfer of municipal land in Villa Liza, Boksburg, and calls for decisive action against those responsible.

The SIU found that 208 municipal plots, valued at approximately R58 million, were fraudulently transferred to private persons between 2018 and 2022, without council resolutions or legal authorisation.

Die VF Plus verwelkom die bevindinge van die spesiale ondersoekeenheid (SOE) oor die bedrieglike oordrag van munisipale grond in Villa Liza, Boksburg, en doen ’n beroep op beslissende optrede teen die verantwoordelike persone.

Die SOE het bevind dat 208 munisipale erwe, ter waarde van sowat R58 miljoen, tussen 2018 en 2022 bedrieglik aan privaat persone oorgedra is sonder raadsbesluite of wettige magtiging.
