1 Life Rescue

Today is a very emotional day where we remember our brothers and sisters of the uniform services who lost their lives or were injured in the events of 9/11 as well as there close collegue and families . These men and women gave up their lives unsealfishly to attempt to save the lives of others. We also remember the animals who assisted in the rescue. We honour you and never will forget you. We also spare a thought for all those still each day who are doing the same , putting their lives on the line for others . We shared a very special time today with some of the uniform staff in the Overburg where we also stood still for a minute and also contemplated the amazing relationships we have with our brothers and sisters In the services as well as the community we serve and our most prescious relationship with our Heavenly Father who protects and sustains us and equips us. May we never stop caring and loving .

Today especially I remember and pray for our men and women in the Frontline, on the roads and in the hospitals . They go out and put their lives on the line listening and setting about to help the person's they are working with , physically and emotionally and sharing themselves personally and their love and care. From dealing with the little old lady who fell and patching her dear old face , comforting her and giving her love , to cutting out the mangled body of a wife who was crushed in an accident next to her husband who servived, of the wreckage, to sharing with a family that their child died in a bus accident with other children, after treating more than 10 children in that same incident , to nursing the terminal cancer patient and motivating them to live while knowing full well that they won't see tomorrow , or to the officer witnessing a tragic shooting in front of them , or fourensics collecting the bodies of 2 children having downed maybe the ages of their own children. These are just a small number of incidents they face on numerous times every day . They sometimes even see their own loved ones in the patients or people they deal with . This tears their incides , and breaks their tender harts , but yet they must stay composed and just carry on giving some more to the next one , trying not to shed a tear. They have no choice. When day is done, this load follows them where ever they go , in their harts , minds , and dreams. Yet still they go on . The paining world needs them. They go home weary to a family needing them too, but yet sometimes not understanding their quiet , pensive manner, but they are sore !. They give some more . Sometimes at home there is also friction as a result of a lack of understanding . This pains them even more. No body really knows what they are really feeling tonight when getting home . Sometimes they don't even know themselves . It's too sore . After all of this , they are still normal people having normal worries and concernes just like all the people brought to them during their shifts . Now only do they get to start focusing on that of their own , if their own state of mind or tiredness allows . We need to keep these very special people and their families in our thoughts and prayers . We need to support them , and encourage them at every possible opportunity. We need to express our appreciation for the and their colleagues. We need to acknowledge them for the increadable work they do everyday of their lives . Even if it's a friendly wave as the ambulance or responce vehicle passes by.
I salute you all for this increadable unsealfish work that you all perform.

September is Su***de Awareness Month. We need to be aware of how many people are battling with this, and how many people try to commit su***de. we need to be aware of those around you. Our men and women in uniform especially suffer from Depression and often have such thoughts, but we can help. 1 Life Rescue is specially there for them to support and help. Please make the call and get the help. You owe it to yourself. " YOUR LIFE MATTERS"
