Mr. Write

Doodlers wanted! ✏️

Join us for Doodle Night during October month’s Hermanus Art Walk!

Pop into Mr. Write to make a tiny artwork for the Little Wolf Museum, Hermanus’ tiniest dollhouse-sized museum, located in front of Mr. Write.

Doodles will be made on A7 or A6 paper, with a new prompt each month to inspire the exhibition theme.

Ahhh, the age-old problem of where to put your keys. The jingle, jangle, cling, ping at the bottom of a bag. The frantic rummaging. The cold brass against your fingertips. The monstrous little teeth of the key biting into everything. The problem of hard textures in an already difficult world.

This soft keychain monster eats your keys 😻

Death Café returns to Mr. Write: a space to talk about death, life, and everything in between. 🍰

☕️What is a Death Café?☕️
The first Death Café was hosted in Switzerland in 2004 by Bernard Crettaz, and has since spread across the world as informal gatherings over tea and cake.

At its heart, it’s an open, small-group conversation about death, guided by curiosity rather than answers.
