What a big harvest at Inundo Development Farm! Andile and Nosisi are busy harvesting all our broccoli and cauliflower and clearing the garden, ready for our next planting of brinjal and green peppers. 🍆🫑
At Inundo, we are all about crop rotation. The root, leaf, and fruit sections move.🌿➡️🍆🫑 This helps keep our soil healthy, manage pests and diseases, and prepare us for another beautiful harvest.
One harvest ends, another begins! 🙏🏽 🌱

Sweet potatoes are a summer crop. They thrive in the heat and produce beautifully, but during winter they go into dormancy.
Once you have sweet potatoes growing, you can continue planting them season after season by taking slips from the shoots and planting them when the next growing season begins.
Although we do not expect much of a harvest during winter, we continue to grow sweet potatoes so that we have vines available to make slips for our summer crop. This means we never have to purchase slips again.
It is a simple way to save money, make the most of what we already have and increase the profit from our summer sweet potato crop.

On September 3rd, we had a beautiful leaders gathering at Inundo Development Farm, taking time to celebrate the leaders who have faithfully attended our meetings throughout the year and completed the Small Group Leaders Training journey. 🙌🏽
Each leader had an opportunity to share how they have grown as a leader, their highlights, the challenges they faced, and how Farming God’s Way has deepened in their lives. It was amazing to hear their stories and witness just how far they have come. ❤️
Every challenge they faced became a lesson, every experience brought growth, and every step strengthened their understanding of Farming God’s Way.
We are grateful for the Inundo team who continues to guide and walk alongside our leaders, Sduduzile, Kerry, Donna, Dan and Mbongeleni. This journey is not over. We are still learning, growing and building one another, especially in planting knowledge and practical farming skills. 🌾
This is what Farming God’s Way is all about, equipping people, transforming communities and breaking the yoke of hunger.

It is always an honour and a joy to host wonderful guests at Inundo Development Farm! Last week, we had the privilege of welcoming Imbewu EcoSolution, an NPO working through projects such as eJerusalem iKhaya Labancwele Organisation, a rehabilitation centre supporting individuals recovering from homelessness, substance dependency and other difficult life circumstances.
Imbewu EcoSolution is passionate about food security, rehabilitation and community agriculture, with a growing interest in soil restoration, agriculture and practical community training. And that is exactly what brought them to Inundo! 🌿
Sduduzile took them on a farm tour, sharing with them the importance of healthy soil, compost and sustainable farming practices. The visit also included a mini training where Sdu demonstrated the difference between Farming God’s Way and conventional farming through our soil runoff demonstration. 🌧️🌱
The demonstration left them amazed, but perhaps what surprised them the most was discovering that we don’t rely on chemicals to make our crops grow! 😲🌿
Sometimes you have to see it with your own eyes to believe it!
At Inundo, we believe that restoring the soil, growing healthy food and equipping communities with practical knowledge can transform lives. We are grateful for organisations like Imbewu EcoSolution who are carrying a similar vision of restoration, food security and hope through agriculture. 🤝🏾❤️

The joy we feel today is truly indescribable! 🙌🏾❤️ There is something so special about watching the seeds we planted with faith, love and hard work turn into a beautiful harvest.
Today at Inundo Development Farm, we are harvesting sweet carrots, beautiful bunches of cauliflower and fresh broccoli! 🥕🥦✨
Every harvest is a reminder that God is faithful. What began as a small seed has become something we can hold in our hands and be grateful for. 🙏🏾
We give all the glory to God for the growth, the provision and the abundance. May this harvest bless many and remind us that when we plant with faith and care, the harvest will surely come. 🌱❤️

The last brinjals of the season 🍆 are coming out of the garden at Inundo Farm! Andile is harvesting a beautiful final crop, and we couldn’t be more grateful.
Even with replanting, brinjal never disappoints! 🌱 What a joy to see the fruit of months of planting, nurturing and patiently waiting.
There’s something special about a garden when you plant, care for the soil , keep showing up, and eventually the harvest comes. We’re giving thanks for this season and looking forward to what comes next. God has been faithful! 🌅

There’s something so inspiring about seeing young people taking an interest in farming and wanting to grow their own food! 💚
Last week, we had the pleasure of welcoming a lovely young lady, Naledi from Umlazi, to Inundo Farm. She has already started her own little garden at home, planting a variety of vegetables. Unfortunately, most of her crops didn’t grow as she had hoped, and her only harvest so far has been green peppers. 🫑
But instead of giving up, Naledi decided to learn! 🙌🏽 Her desire is to understand and practise the Farming God’s Way method so she can improve her garden and grow healthy, thriving vegetables.
During her tour of the farm, she was amazed to see just how much is growing so beautifully. 🌿🥬🥕 Seeing her excitement and curiosity reminded us that every farmer starts somewhere ,sometimes with one small garden, one seed, and a willingness to learn.
And of course, Naledi didn’t want to miss out! 😄 She was already asking about our upcoming training because she is ready to learn more.
We love seeing this hunger in our youth. The future of farming is in their hands, and we are excited to walk alongside them! 🌱❤️
Keep growing, Naledi! Your farming journey has only just begun. 🙏🏽
