And now she’s getting ready for her new owner.

The Suzuki Hayabusa is officially in PDI at Pat’s Scooter World, being checked and prepared for André Bartleman, winner of the Veldskoen Rally 2026 Suzuki Hayabusa.

After all the build-up, the keyrings, the entries and Saturday night’s draw, it all becomes very real tomorrow.

At 10:00, André will collect his brand-new bike from Pat’s Scooter World.

There’s something special about seeing that odometer sitting on zero and knowing the very first kilometres belong to the winner.

From a number in the draw to a brand-new Hayabusa in the garage.

André Bartleman will be at Pat's Scooter World / Kawasaki Klerksdorp / Suzuki Klerksdorp, Tuesday 29 September, at 10:00 for the Hayabusa handover.

We also want to clear up a few questions about the draws.

Every qualifying Hayabusa entry was captured into the draw database.

For the QJ SRT 900 draw, the rules required entrants to be present at Veldskoen Rally. Eligible ticket holders who checked in were therefore included in that draw.

Some Friday and Saturday orders showed as Failed or On Hold, even where money had been deducted from the buyer's account.

To make sure nobody was excluded because of a technical or payment-status problem, those Friday and Saturday entries were included in the draw as a precaution.

There were approximately 15 such entries, and neither motorcycle winner came from those entries.

Some confirmation emails also did not reach entrants because of incorrect email addresses or spam filtering. Not receiving an email did not mean that the entry had been excluded.

The database determined entry into the draw.

We were still capturing and checking entries until shortly after 20:00 on Saturday, which contributed to the delay.

We apologise for the wait.

The QJ draw was lengthy because the required process had to be followed, including the 10-name, 10-box procedure.

An independent auditor was present, the procedures were followed, and both motorcycle draws were completed successfully.
