π Training Successfully Concluded!
From 7-10 September 2026, the Water Resources Planning and Modelling Virtual Short Training Course brought together water resource professionals from across Southern Africa to strengthen knowledge and skills in innovative water resources management. 85+ participants, 4 days, countless insights, and a shared commitment to better water resources management.
A special thank you to our facilitators, Prof. Jean-Marie Kileshye Onema (Waternet) and Dr. Loreen Katiyo (Global Water Partnership Southern Africa), as well as guest speaker Dr. Misheck Lesa Chundu (The University of Zambia -UNZA), for sharing valuable knowledge and practical insights that will help strengthen water security and sustainable development across the region.

CUVKUN Water Resources Planning & Modelling Virtual Short Course | Day 2 of 4
The CUVKUN Training Programme is currently underway, bringing together researchers, engineers, students, and water professionals to strengthen skills in water resources planning, hydrological analysis, and modelling for sustainable water management.
Participants are exploring practical tools and real-world applications through the Kunene Regulated River Corridor Case Study, covering reservoir operations, water allocation, environmental flow management, and decision-support systems.
