Driving quality and productivity through collaboration ๐ฟ๐ฆ
Delegates from organisations across South Africa, Mauritius and Japan have gathered in Durban for the National Quality and Productivity Network (NQPN) training workshop.
Established through a partnership between the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) and the Department of Trade, Industry and Competition (the dtic), the NQPN promotes quality and productivity improvement (Kaizen) across South Africa.
The workshop brings together Productivity SA, the Automotive Supply Chain Competitiveness Initiative (ASCCI), Plastics SA, the Production Technologies Association of South Africa (PTSA), the Automotive Industry Development Centre Gauteng (AIDC-GP), and the Automotive Industry Development Centre Eastern Cape (AIDC-EC) to strengthen collaboration and share best practices for improving productivity nationwide.

Productivity SA participated in the ILO Project Advisory Committee (PAC) sessions, where government, business and labour came together to review the Phase 1 results of the Productivity Ecosystems for Decent Work Project and strategically plan for Phase 2.

A stronger public service starts with a stronger culture of productivity ๐ค
Productivity SA is proud to announce the signing of a strategic MoU with the Department of Public Service and Administration (DPSA).
The partnership will focus on strengthening the Public Service Productivity Framework, developing standardised productivity measurement tools, building the capacity of productivity champions and supporting continuous improvement across government.
