Let's talk figurines
Do you make your own or do you outsource?
Do you include them in your pricing ?
Figurines are too expensive and take way too many hours to make. It is always advisable to be open with your clients about the pricing ,hours and labor needed to produce these little cute items so that when you charge +R80 per cupcake you dont seem unreasonable 😅

Does it really matter?
When I introduced clear packaging in my business, I noticed that my clients were more appreciative of it than the old box packaging I used to use.
Whenever I get an order 80% of the time, my client will emphasize " please use that nice packaging "

Labour of love! I made this unicorn topper myself . So many hours of labour. I really appreciate clients who understand that the price we charge isn't exaggerated.

When ganache is refusing to cooperate. I had to start over but at the end we won.

Simple looking cakes are not as simple yoh. Spent 1 hour making the cherries 🍒 . Guess what I used to make the cherries 😊

My client had an idea, and she asked Ai to create a cake for her . Then she sent me the Ai image to recreate. The cake on the left is Ai the cake on the right is what I did for the client.
How did I do? 😊
Client was super happy.
