Sesotho-Xhosa Musical Blend, Mohale's Hoek meets Eastern Cape

Thingo, a Mohale’s Hoek-born rapper, teams up with Eastern Cape-born South African soul sensation S’nazo in this Sesotho-Xhosa musical blend to deliver MAHLASELI. This is a first-of-its-kind cross-cultural collaboration between two lands that have remained so much closer to each other in everything else but music.

Thingo brings his unique sound, crafted from hip-hop, choral and mokorotlo influences, while S'nazo carries the soul of the song with her impeccable vocal prowess many recognise from their favourite radio stations.

MAHLASELI – a song of hope – draws on the personal experiences of the two artists to remind us that joy comes in the morning. It is an intentionally spiritual, joyful and inspiring offering created for moments when hope is rare and courage is missing.

The song is a powerful reminder to keep the faith even in the hardest of times
