Position: Social Media Liaison

Core Responsibilities

Content Creation: Plan, write, and produce engaging posts, reels, and stories for platforms like Facebook, Instagram, Youtube and TikTok

Community Engagement: Monitor comments, direct messages, and brand mentions to interact with followers and answer public questions.

Public Outreach: Coordinate with press contacts, influencers/athletes and marketing partners to execute campaigns or race event news.

Performance Tracking: Analyze reach, engagement rates, and follower growth to improve future digital strategies.

Part time availability: once a week for an in-person content creation session, including brainstorming, content planning and strategy.
Race weekends (multiple posts over the weekend)

Key Skills Needed:
Strong written and verbal communication
Content creation:
Ability to photograph and film content for social media.
Proficiency with image editing and video editing tools
Familiarity with social media analytics
Trend awareness and creative storytelling
Proficient in Figma for creating and adapting social media content

Advantageous:

Own camera, microphones, lighting and other content-creation equipment.
Own a drone and have a valid drone licence.

First day at the Century Outeniqua 400 South African Rally-Raid Championship

Rocky, narrow, steep and twisty tracks made for a challenging opening day.

The CR-X had a clean first official outing, running trouble-free from qualifying through to the end of Stage 1. Mark and Max Corbett finished the day 24th overall and 2nd in class.

It was a tougher start for the CR7. An issue with the fuel direct-injection system resulted in a DNF in qualifying, leaving Jayden Els and Johann Swemmer to start Stage 1 at the back of the field. They pushed hard, working their way through the field, overtaking 9 cars to finish the stage 6th and end the day 10th overall.
