Century Racing consists of an all South African team of professionals including designers, engineers, mechanics and support staff who are fanatical petrol heads. All the race vehicles were designed and manufactured on the teams premises in Midrand, South Africa. The team competes in the local offroad series and international races and has won numerous races and overall championships since 1996.
Vegas to Reno is underway 🇺🇸🏁
Shakedown and registration will take place on Tuesday, followed by a 4 mile qualifying stage on Wednesday. The CR6 will then take on the 500 mile race on Friday, 14 August. Mathieu Serradori Rallye and Brian Baragwanath will share the driving, with Julien Hardy and Leonard Cremer sharing navigation.

Final day of the South African Rally-Raid Championship Toyota Gazoo Racing Stella 1000.
Jayden Els and Johann Swemmer start Stage 5 in third place overall.
Day 1 of the South African Rally-Raid Championship Toyota Gazoo Racing Stella 1000 delivered fast, twisty tracks, thick bush, long straights and plenty of sand. The CR7 handled the demanding stages well, with a big step forward in the front and rear differential setup, while the team continued working through damper settings as the terrain changes throughout the race. Jayden Els Johann Swemmer finished provisionally 7th, just 27 seconds off the lead, “....we parked it at the end to secure a better starting position for tomorrow.”
The true test starts tomorrow with stage 3 and 4 both covering 209km. Jayden and Johann will take the steady and calm approach, keeping in mind that the starting order might play a big part again on Sunday.
Track time with the CR6 and CR7.
One week remains until the second round of the South African Rally-Raid Championship , the longest event on the 2026 SARRC calendar.
