Kaytech was proud to be represented at the 11th South African Young Geotechnical Engineers (YGE) Conference, hosted by the Geotechnical Division of SAICE, from 15–18 September 2026.

Siyanda Manqele presented his paper, "Investigating treatment methods for poor subgrade materials in road pavement design focusing on geosynthetic reinforcement", while Monique Albertyn presented, "Stability of geosynthetic and compacted clay liners on mining slopes."

The conference provided a valuable opportunity to engage with industry, exchange ideas and discuss the challenges and developments shaping the geotechnical sector.
