This week at the Pan-African Biennale, our hearts are FULL. 🥹❤️🌍

One of our own is there, not simply as an observer, but as a WINNER. 🏆✨

Our very own Paula’s work was selected to be exhibited among the student projects, and honestly… what a moment. What a privilege. What a milestone.🥹✨

This is not a milestone we take for granted. The Biennale is the first pan-African biennale on the continent, and Paula has made history by having her work represented at this inaugural edition. What an incredible moment! 🌍❤️

, we hope you know just how proud we are of you. ❤️

We’re cheering you on every step of the way as you grow into one of Africa’s next great architects!

We love you, Paula. Keep going. Keep creating. Keep making history. ❤️‍🔥

The journey has only just begun. 🚀🫶🏾🏛️✨

Over the next few weeks, we’ll be highlighting some of the incredible work of our mentors ✨

Michelle is one of the mentors at The WHY Project and runs her own Cape Town-based practice, Onyx Architects.

Today we’re featuring the cellar at Moya Meaker Winery, a project that beautifully reflects the thoughtful, intentional touch women continue to bring to architecture through detail, materiality, and sensitivity to place.

Explore more of her work on the Onyx Architects website✨
