Have you ever had a chance to peek inside the Project Intombi bucket?
Everything a girl needs for her period… three beautiful reusable pads, washing powder, vinegar, and information on how to care for the pads, as well as education regarding menstruation. The bucket can also be used to soak/wash the pads. Air-drying in sunlight dries the pad, and kills all possible germs.

Project Intombi is grateful to help girls overcome the stigma around menstrual health, with real solutions and dignity.

It might be cold outside, but Project Intombi warms hearts! Thobisile and Mbali are the ladies making reusable sanitary pads for young girls - keeping them in school with dignity.

Periods are normal. Period.
